FileCloud Quick Guide

Overview

FileCloud is the easiest way to securely access and share files using a Desktop, Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone in the office or on the move from any internet connection.

Secured by your email address and password, you can access your groups shared folder, update files, save them and update files will be available from any device via FileCloud.

FileCloud is part of our Managed Backup Solution, so if it’s in FileCloud, it’s backed up providing peace of mind from lost or dropped devices.

 

Instructions

  • You will receive an email notification from FileCloud with the Subject “Your FileCloud Account is Approved!”

 

 

  • Click on the link in the email which will take to you the login screen.

  • Sign in with your Email ID and password in the email and you will be logged into FileCloud.

 

  • Next click on your name in the top right and select “Settings”

  • Click on Account and then Change Password and you can change your password to something more familiar to you. 

 

  • In the navigation panel on the left click “Files” which will take you back to the folder list.

 

  • Click on the folder and you will be see the Shared Folder for your group.

 

Key Points     

  • All files within this shared folder will be visible to all users within the group
  • Any files deleted will be deleted for all users.

 

FileCloud Mobile App

  • From your mobile goto your App Store and search for FileCloud
  • Download and Install the FileCloud Application
  • Tap the FileCloud Application
  • Enter your email address and password
  • Enter the server address from the bottom of the Approval email which will look like https://xxxxx.intellium.co.nz (remember it’s https)
  • Log In and follow the navigation instructions from above.
